FOR FARMERS AND RANCHERS

Ranch to Retail

Most of our members raise meat and sell it direct, and that's what we've done at Five Marys Ranch for over ten years. Start with a step-by-step guide on the part you're working on right now, and when you want to see how a whole operation fits together, the Ranch to Retail program takes you through ours.

4 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDES AT $37 EACH · THE FULL PROGRAM AT $497

THE FULL PROGRAM

Ranch to Retail

Ranch to Retail is for ranchers who want to ship direct to customers or build their own butchery and harvest. Brian and I take you through our ranch operations, our custom butchery, our USDA mobile harvest unit and the farm store where we pack and ship, and we tell you how we built our audience and the basic numbers and hurdles to weigh before you build a meat plant or sell direct.

It's all recorded video, so you can watch on your own time and come back to any tour when you get to that part of your own operation.

ONE PAYMENT · LIFETIME ACCESS TO EVERY VIDEO

BEFORE YOU BUILD

Should you do it?

Building a USDA meat plant or shipping direct is a big decision, and the plant we built sits on the third location we permitted. We share the basic numbers and the hurdles to consider, so you can decide whether to build your own plant, buy a mobile unit, use another facility for harvest or keep it simple and sell direct.

This program is a good fit if you are:

  • Raising beef, pork or lamb and ready for the next step in selling it direct
  • Shipping to customers already and looking for ways to make it more affordable
  • Weighing your own butchery, a mobile harvest unit or a restaurant that serves your meat

"We took the Ranch-to-Retail workshop and our brains were swelling with so much usable information! This course is a must for all of us in the ranching/farming world!"
